Live TV Tuner Setup - Detect My Devices is not detecting

I had to send one of my HD Homerun tuners-extend in for service (for the fan less upgrade).  I received today and installed.  However, when I attempted to Auto detect; i.e., Detect My Devices, Emby did NOT detect my tuner.  The tuner had a new MAC and noticed before installing and made an adjustment in my router ip reservations.  This made me wonder if something weird on my tuner, so I removed two additional tuners (I have 4) and attempted an auto detect.  Emby did not detect any tuner and received this error/message: "No new devices found. To add a new tuner, close this dialog and enter the device information manually."  Yes, removed the old tuners first before detecting.  I rebooted Emby and router and also the HD Homeruns and tried again - no go.  I got used to the auto detect, but had to manually add them so all is well that regards but really like the auto detect.  Has something been changed or does something need to be fixed?  thanks! Robert

Hi, nothing has changed. Thanks for the report. We'll do some testing on this.

Luke,

FYI, last week, had an issue with my Emby Server and had to take it down to repair.  In the meantime, installed Emby on a 2nd system as not keen on losing anything.  On a fresh installation, I attempted to Detect my HD Home Run devices - I have four.  None were automatically found.   This is not isolated to one system, but now two, the 2nd never had Emby installed.

In my testing this function is working fine. The automatic discovery depends on udp network traffic so I would check the firewall on your server machine to make sure nothing is blocking it.

Most likely something is just blocking the traffic, thanks.

I'm not sure my detection has ever worked.  Could be that I'm using an old version of the HDHomerun?

I've always just used a static IP and it works fine.

Luke,

Meant to let you know a three weeks ago, issue is resolved. Something weird was going on with my Hard Drive as other things were acting flaky too, so decided to upgrade to a bigger and faster HDD and reinstalled fresh Windows 10 and Emby.  Works like a champ now.
