Unable to play movies remotely

Movies do not play from either my Windows 10 Mobile 950 XL phone or through any web browser. The cover art appears and it just sits there. However, on the Emby server I can see the progress of the movie being played.

 

I have also noticed this internally, but only on my Windows 10 Mobile 950 XL phone

This looks like something you might want to look into:

	Application directory: /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/releases/v3.2.30.0
	System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/volume3/transcoding-temp" is denied.

The other thing is the app is requesting a video bitrate of 40mbps which is obviously way too high for a remote connection, so you may want to customize that. let us know if this helps. thanks.

Interesting. I do not recall changing any permission nor would I now how. The account currently had full admin rights and I still get this error.

Ok figured it out. Needed to create a folder on that volume then grant permissions.  Doh!

You mentioned that my rate was to high (40mbps ), I have the device set to Auto. Shouldn't this adjust the rate?
