breezytm 124 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 (edited) Hey gents, I am not so certain where this supposed to be posted at but please feel free to move it to the appropriate section of the forum is needed. Anyway, I am very please with the performance of Emby latest server releases. Very speedy. I like it. Finally browsing doesn't require an arm and a leg to load my artworks. Question: Would it be possible, for Emby to resize the TV channel icon to fit the grid box. I am using Channel Logos XL and the icons are really big. Should maintain a specific size i think. Luke 42083 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Yes those are a little big. Thanks for your feedback on performance. 1
breezytm 124 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 Yeah. I know. Any chance you can configure the server to crop the picture to a specific size without losing resolution similarly to how it is already doing for backdrops and posters? Thanks.
Luke 42083 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 We already do. I think what is happening here is that unlike most other users, your logos have no transparent whitespace around them.
breezytm 124 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 (edited) You are absolutely correct sir. Attached are two samples you can use if you can think of a workaround. I am thinking perhaps you can split the number and the name cells into two different cells rather than one and then use picture fit to cell size. Edited July 14, 2017 by breezytm
breezytm 124 Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 No thank you for looking into it. Right now my guide looks like a hot mess. Especially after spending 3 1/2 hours putting the icons there. But I am sure you'll figure something out so thanks in advance
Luke 42083 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Well you've given us a lot of great performance related feedback so I guess you deserve it. 2
