Missing show episode overview

Hi,

Seem to be getting a lot of recent shows where the overview text is blank in Theater, not sure what logs are required for this as it just seems to be a display issue (though some shows are fine)

Happens in the Desktop and Store Theater App

 

Below pics should show issue, on Season view there is no description, but go into the episode and it is there (Episode 2 example of issue)

there is one in the 2nd screenshot, or does that data come from somewhere else

 

If i select Ep2 or 3 from that list, the next page shows the description of the episode, just the season list of all episodes is missing it

 

This is the nfo for Ep2, not sure if anything missing, did a refresh to re create it about 30 mins ago

No thats fine - i missed that the second screen shot was of the second episode

 

It does not appear in the web app either?

 

Are you using chrome for the web app?

I cant find a way to get the same display in the web app, it just shows as below (and i use Chrome)

 

Can xml files cause issues (this Ep doesnt have one, but some episodes for this show do), i do not have the xml plugin installed

Do you have the spoiler protection in Theater turned on?

Just checked and yes i did

 

I now see the link between which where not showing it, newly added and watched had info, newly added unwatched had it blank

Hi, this will be in the 4.9 server release for the web app, and will be in the next update to many of our apps. It will come in the form of a user setting:

And then you will screens like this:

Of course it is not guaranteed to be applied everywhere, particularly when it comes to screens that are more intended for media management purposes than viewing.
