Kodi Emby Options: Delete movie or tv, does it delete from Couchpotato or Sonarr library too?

Hi, I'm trying to understand how well these different parts work together.

 

I use Couchpotato and Sonarr, Emby server, and Kodi with the Emby for Kodi addon. They reside on an unRAID NAS.

 

Within Kodi I have Emby options that lets me delete shows, that's suppose to remove the files and folder from the NAS.

 

Will the entries in the Couchpotato or Sonarr libraries also be deleted in this process?

Hi, Emby will not communicate with CouchPotato or Sonar but I imagine the next time those programs scan your library they will update to reflect the changes. Thanks.

Hi again, sorry I now have a question in reverse.

 

I recently deleted movies from Couchpotato so there are now 199 movies.

 

But Emby is still showing the previous count of 311 movies.

 

I triggered Settings > Library > Scan All Libraries but it's still showing my old movies.

 

What can I do to get Emby synced up?

Sounds like maybe you only deleted them from your couch potato library and didn't actually delete the files?

Oh man, that could be it. I deleted the movies from the Couchpotato interface, did not know it doesn't delete the actual files! That functionality doesn't really make sense to me. I'll google Couchpotato. Thank you.
