Upgrade to 3.2.20 Failed

Hello Everyone,

 

I have never had an issue with Emby upgrades before, but 3.2.20 did not go well for some reason.

 

Emby Version: 3.2.19 -> 3.2.20

Operating System: Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS Server

 

I logged into the server and saw the message that an update was available, so I shut down and went to the CLI to upgrade:

apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

That went normally, but the server did not start properly. Here is from /var/log/syslog:

I restarted the services again and it started fine this time, but I now get the Welcome to Emby! wizard. Does this mean I have lost all my Settings and Metadata? Help is greatly appreciated!

 

EDIT: I went ahead and went through the wizard. It picked up my configuration, but the metadata was not used. A scan is going now.

Hi can you please provide the emby server log from the time that the startup failed?  You can learn how to do that here:
