JERRY1 17 Posted May 13, 2017 Author Posted May 13, 2017 (edited) I can now get into both if i type in the ip. but not with emby connect..port forwarding for the windows emby server weren't in the router my fault thought it was..using android emby on my cell. Luke 42083 Posted May 14, 2017 Posted May 14, 2017 Yes that is correct. You're saying you can sign in successfully to Emby Connect, but then the next step of connecting to server is the issue? Is that right? After changing that https setting in Emby Server, I would also try restarting Emby Server. Thanks.

Solution Luke 42083 Posted May 15, 2017 Solution Posted May 15, 2017 Right, i asked you earlier though to change the setting to report https as remote to false. that will make http your remote address. Your browser is rejecting your self signed certificate. That is why you can't connect, in all likelihood. You either need to use http, or obtain a trusted certificate such as Let's Encrypt. 1
JERRY1 17 Posted May 15, 2017 Author Posted May 15, 2017 I updated the server so i guess it reverted back to https, i unchecked it again it's working. This is how it works no sign in required, just hit the emby icon & go's right in ? Again thanks for the help luKE much appreciated as always
