Can't install Media Browser Classic Client

Hello,

 

I installed the server no problem.   However during install I get - past the splash screen with the version I'm installing and then I get this.

I'm running Windows 8.1 Enterprise (official) x 64.    Tried it with all firewall and antivirus software uninstalled.

I downloaded the client today 3.0.127.0

You need to have windows media center installed. @@ebr, can that situation be detected so that a suggestion can be presented to the user?

he's asking EBR (the developer of the Media Browser Classic) if there is a way that this error can be avoided and present something to the user the make a little more sense.

The installer does detect it but it runs in silent mode so the user never sees the error.  I may take the silent mode out because it causes other issues too.
