ffgff 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Hi, I have added some IPTV channels by using a m3u file ("Tuner"). It did work as expected. From time to time I remove this m3u file/tuner to change some channels in the m3u file and add them again afterwards. Now I have some old channels as "ghost entries" which are not part of any m3u file I have added but they are still visible in the channel list. The metadata-manager shows them as well.... I simply want to get rid of them. How do I do this? I could not find any way to achieve this in the metadata-manager... Thanks for your help! regards
Luke 42083 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 They must still be in the m3u. Try running the refresh guide scheduled task.
ffgff 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 Hm I did refresh the TV channels after removing them and they were all gone. But when I add them again the ghost channels are still there... Is my import format wrong? Maybe the names are detected wrongly because I am using "Schedules Direct" as guide provider... Here is my m3u format: #EXTM3U#EXTINF:-1,Das Erste HDhttp://xxxxxxx.ts and so on
ffgff 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 (edited) Oh there is an option for assigning the channels to "Schedules Direct" channels. It is hidden in the Schedules Direct Settings.... But I see that some common german TV channels like "Das Erste" are missing in Schedules Direct?! Has anyone a explanation? Now I understand the problem, Schedules Direct does a wrong channel assignment... How do I have to change the m3u format? Does this work better: #EXTM3U#EXTINF:-1 tvg-name="Das Erste HD",Das Erste HDhttp://iptv.watchhd.cc:8000/live/YAO9RaC/WsAagXoH1x/71.ts Edited April 19, 2017 by ffgff
Luke 42083 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 What does this mean? assigning the channels to "Schedules Direct" channels
ffgff 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 I mean that the setting for "Schedules Direct" TV Guide provide me a list where I can see my IPTV channel and its assigned TV Program Source channel. Most of them do not fit. So I have to change them manually which is not what I want to do. I need a way to tell that some entry in the m3u file is a specific TV channel?!
Luke 42083 Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 If they don't automatically match up then you can just use the UI to map them.
ffgff 0 Posted April 19, 2017 Author Posted April 19, 2017 Some channels I have in my m3u list do not appear in the list I can use for mapping. "Das Erste" for example is missing....
Solution Luke 42083 Posted April 24, 2017 Solution Posted April 24, 2017 hi @@ffgff, is schedules direct enabled for that tuner? Click on your schedules direct setup and check the enabled tuners list. 1
ffgff 0 Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 Yes that was the problem. There were the wrong tuners selected
