Recently unable to connect from web browser only

This appears to be strictly an https issue that just started...

I am running the latest beta (3.2.12.9).  I just recently started experiencing weird issues last night where I can connect via Android, Roku, and even Emby Theater on my PC... but on that same PC, or even my work PC, I am now unable to connect to emby--getting a ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED and ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.  I can sometimes connect via my Emby Connect account on app.emby.media, but that just makes it all the weirder.

I can connect via http://dynamicip:8096, but now it fails when trying https://dynamicip:8920 (which was working fine yesterday afternoon)

I can connect via chrome on the server pc (localhost), but on other pc's in the network it fails.  I tried restoring to a previous beta and that did not help.. so it may be something else.  (attached server log)

Hmmm.. I see my server no longer says https is listening on the main page... but I have it setup and configured still and it was working fine??

In order to see that on the server dashboard, you need to enable the "Report https as external address" option in hosting settings.

What kind of ssl cert are you using? Your own or the built in self-signed cert?

It sounds like you are using the default self signed cert and browsers are going to reject that. You should get a trusted cert for this, such as LetsEncrypt for example.

I am using a Cert that I purchased from namecheap.com... it has been working fine for the longest time.  I sent that screenshot because it used to say listening on https as well in the hud but no longer does.  Also, I do have the option checked to report https as external address.

*Sigh*  I run cloudstation drive (synology product) on my nas and my pc.. and the ssl certificate is in there... the latest version changed the location it is synced to.. to a subfolder \drive\...   so Emby no longer could find the cert.  I got this all resolved... sorry and thanks so much for pointing me towards the certificate!   ;)
