Question about my collections

I have the movie 2012 in my collection. But it does not show up under movies or in the meta manager. Funny thing is that if you use the search function in Emby browser it pulls in right up. So why does it not show in the movie list? And how many other movies are doing the same thing to me?

I do have auto box collection installed. But the movie 2012 has no collection number so it should not be in a collection.

I too have seen issues with movie with year in their names, like 2012 (2009) for instance.

But if a search finds it, it (should) mean its accounted for (?)

Can you show a screenshot of Edit Info for 2012.  Is there a Sort Title or is it blank?

Are you sure you have the media as the path does not reflect it.  How about a screenshot of the folder content.

Is that the only BluRay rip that is not showing?  If you Refresh that movie does it make a difference?  Can you post a log after Refreshing the movie.

That is the only one that I know of. I will have to try a refresh.

Is their a way to get a count of the movies that the server is seeing? I have collections to the counts in the browser do not count how many movies are in the collection.

If you uncheck "Group movies into collections" in Library-Display, you can go to Reports and see how many movies Emby sees.

So I have been doing some testing and here is what I have found. If you uncheck group collection it shows up. So it is being added to a collection somewhere, but has no collection number.

 

I checked the movie count in report and it is showing 1 more movie then I have folders, so I don't know what is going on with that.

So check your collections and find out what collection it has been added to.

You could try a file search tool.  All the collection.xml files are in one place.

 

Sounds like maybe it got manually added to one.

Finally found it in the predator collection. Not sure how it got their but I picked remove from collection and it seems to be fixed.
