Disorganise 15 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Hi, I set up my router to forward port 8096 and can connect to my library. However, it is unauthenticated which I'm not keen to leave. Is it possible have password access via Internet and bypass on LAN? I mainly use the MBC to connect at home and don't want to complicate it for the other half. Thanks Sent from my GT-I9305 using Forum Fiend v1.1.7.
Solution Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted February 7, 2014 Solution Posted February 7, 2014 (edited) Similar suggestion was made here: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/4380-support-for-both-strong-and-weak-passwords-on-a-per-client-basis/ I don't know about MBC, but in MBT you can set the system to autologin to a specific user. Disorganise 15 Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 thanks. that led me to http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/2957-remote-password-issue/ which advised how to save the password into MBC so it's seamless
