media-junkie 1 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Okay, so I've been using Emby for years... server setup has changed very little. Previously when I added new content I had it setup to create an xml in the folder of the movie and also download all artwork into the same folder... creating subfolders for extrafanart, extrathumbs, etc. Sometime in the last month or maybe longer this data is no longer being saved with the media. The data appears to be saved somewhere as it shows up in emby and kodi... but I can find where it is being saved. I liked this data to stay with the media. Any thoughts on where it is being saved an how I can get it back to where it saves it with the media. Thanks.
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 17, 2017 Solution Posted February 17, 2017 Settings were moved to per library instead of a global setting. Check each library to verify settings. Dashboard-Library-select each library 1
media-junkie 1 Posted February 17, 2017 Author Posted February 17, 2017 Thanks, I see that now. I changed each library to do what I wanted.
Khalid 1 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 I had the exact same issue, thanks for the answer!
nicko84 71 Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Hello, It works for new folders in the library but it doesn't modify actual folders and doesn't create usual subfolders, even you synchronise the library again or folders one by one. Do you know an answer to this problem please ? Thanks
nicko84 71 Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 Hello again, I gett the answer ! Infos are downloaded when you need it : when you browse on the tv show or movie or when you use Emby Theater for example. If you want to download infos each time you import a new file, you must choose "Download images in advance" in library setup. Best Regards
