Images By Name Pictures Not Showing Up

Hello All,

 

I'm having an issue where my Images by Names pictures are not showing up in MBC 117.  I'm assuming I'm  doing something wrong.

 

I've also attached the Server Log.  Also attached are picutres showing examples and my IBN folder location.

MBS Version 3.0.5144.26879

That's not MBC - that is the web client.

 

The first thing you need to do is go back to the Release Server and see if it behaves any differently.

EBR I understand the picture I show is the web client and not MBC.  The images for actors is not working in the web client or MBC as you can see in the attached picture. 

 

This was still not working on the last official release of the MB server. 

 

Are there any issues with have my IBN folder on my flexraid?  Should I have the IBN folder on my c: drive?

 

The only actor image that I have working I had to go into the web client choose the actor and upload the image from the IBN folder location.

Okay, if the issue is manifesting in all clients then it doesn't have anything to do with MBC.  I'm sure this is a configuration problem.

 

I have my IBN on a FR server.  That is not a problem.

 

Did you point the server to the new location?  Are you sure it took?

Looking at the screenshot it showsDenzel Washington folder under

 

ImagesByName\D\Denzel Washington

 

I believe it should be under people i.e.

 

ImagesByName\People\D\Denzel Washington

Oooh - good catch Ghost.  That is definitely the problem.

 

Manut - How did those images get there?

EBR-  I though all of it was created from Metabrowser.  I did notice I had a People folder inside of the Images by Name Folder.  Inside the people folder were all the actors folders, but I also had all the actors folders directly inside the Images by Name folder as well.

 

I've had it this way for many years from my setup on MB 2 in which I had it working.

 

I will clean up the Images by Name folder and make sure all the actors folders are inside the People folder.

 

Should I be using MBS or Metabrowser to get the actors images?

 

Lastly should MBS be pointing at the folder location Images By Name/People?  Also does it need to be a UNC Path or a direct folder location?

Just cleaned out the whole folder and started from scratch. 

 

I pointed MBS to \\MOVIESERVER\Drivers_software\mediabrowser\ImagesByName

 

I downloaded the cast memebers for a couple of movies through Metabrowser.

 

I refreshed People on MBS.

 

Now I'm golden.
