scsherman 2 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I can't get the Next PVR plugin to install from within Emby Server. It just keeps looping me around saying it is installed and to restart. Upon restart the plugin is still not installed. The server log shows it being installed. It's driving me nuts. Next PVR works great standalone and Emby does as well. The last time I tried linking them I found the interface to be too slow and gave up on it. Now I am trying again and can't even get past Step 1. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Sven 136 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 And you don't see the nextpvr plugin? Can you show it with a screenshot?
Luke 42077 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Hmm, I just tested and I was able to install. @@Sven what about you? @@scsherman what version of Emby Server are you running?
Sven 136 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 @@Luke I don't have any problem at my side. @@scsherman Can you also post the logs? So I can see what he is doing...
scsherman 2 Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 Thank you for the replies. I am still unable to install. I will attach relevant screen shots showing that I have in fact attempted to install and the Emby server has recorded it as installing. I have also attached the most recent logs. I appreciate any help you can offer. server-63619222893.txt
Solution Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2017 Solution Posted January 5, 2017 @@scsherman, first update to the latest version of emby server. it looks like you are stuck on an old testing build. 1
scsherman 2 Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 I changed to the beta channel from stable and everything updated and showed Next PVR as installed. So my original issue is fixed. Thank you! I was under the stable release channel with automatic updates enabled. Why didn't it update? 1
Luke 42077 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 At some point you installed a beta version for whatever reason, probably to check out a new feature or bug fix. That version had an issue with updating and therefore you were stuck on it.
scsherman 2 Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 Thanks for the explanation. Glad it was a simple fix.
