I've been experiencing incredibly slow page loads in the web browser since the upgrade to 3.1.2. I enabled debug logging and have included the log for a period of time where I was simply browsing my media. Playback seems to be fine. However, navigating the site is now very cumbersome.

Hi, we're sorry to hear about that. Since this log covers almost 24 hours, can you please discuss an example and what time of day we should be looking at? thanks !

Any and all page loads other than the dashboard are extremely cumbersome. It was consistent all day so I imagine any section of the log would work. The software has always been extremely snappy on my system so I'm hoping its not anything major as it seemed to begin directly after the last update.

Nonetheless it would be helpful to look at something specific. could you restart your server to create an empty log, and then go over what activity took place that was slow? If you've had your installation for a while, you might also consider starting with a fresh database. this would involve deleting the server's library.db file, starting back up, running a library scan, then restoring user data using backup plugin (which you already have).

Sure. I started a fresh log and then traveled to the home screen (slow load 15s). From there into my TV collection (loaded normal 3s). Then Shows tab (loads normal 2s). Back to home page (slow page load 10s). Then to the music collection (slow load 15s). Then to album artist page (slow load 20s, also missing images for artists that I know are stored in the metadata folder). Then entered Admiral Fallow artist page (slow load 20s, doesnt populate any artist information or picture even though it has for this artist in the past). Then to Movies collection (instant load). Then back to Home page (slow load 10s).

Its a recent install with a new database, less than a month old. If you still recommend deleting the database after this I'll try that next.

Just a follow up. Deleting the database and rescanning seems to have done the trick.

Thanks!
