Movie runtime no longer displayed

I've noticed an issue with the run time on movies not showing anymore.  Before posting the issue I wanted to see if there was ANY way I could narrow it down.  I think I have accomplished that now.

Here is what I noticed:  The run time of roughly 99% of my Blurays (over 1700) does not show up anymore.  All DVD's still show it.  I thought it might be Media Center Master, but the data in the movie.xml file is all there between a Bluray that DOES properly display run time vs. one that does not.  Then I thought it might be an issue with my theme in Emby Classic.  I tired the default but still no change.  Then I tried Emby Theater, and it too was not showing the run time for Blurays.

At that point it looked like the common element was Emby Server.  I went into the server and did a metadata refresh and that fixed the issue on the particular Bluray I tried it on.  I then tried it on another to ensure it wasn't a fluke.  It worked again.

So here is my question:  How does one force Emby Server to refresh the WHOLE library?  With well over 1700 titles, it would be a very time consuming process to do each movie individually.

Thanks

What server version?

The question would be why did the database lose this information?  But you can do a Refresh at Library level, or use multi-select option and Refresh.

I am on v 3.1.2650 Beta.

I tried the Library Refresh option, but don't think it is going through the whole library (I have 9 HDD in the server).  What is the multi-select option?

For the Library Refresh, I clicked the tripple stacked dots on the upper right corner and selected refresh, right?

What is the multi-select option?

Hold down left click on a library on Home or Movies screen.

Hold down left click on a library on Home or Movies screen.

Ok.  From the Home screen, I held the Left click.  This put a green box around each library and a checkable box in the upper left hand of each box.  I clicked this in each Library and then clicked the tripple dots and selected Refresh.  That's it, correct?

Not sure how long it will take, but here is an example of what I am talking about regarding the missing time:

Well that is Theater and I don't believe there is a multi-select there.

Try app.emby.media instead of tv.emby.media

or is that the actual app.

Theater has multi-select.

But I would just do it from the metadata manager.

I was just using Theater to show the symptom.

I was able to resolve it via your suggestion "...multi-select option and Refresh".

THX!

Not sure why it happened in the first place though?

Thanks for confirming. Probably due to an issue in an older release. Thanks.
