Multimedia menu display of library folders

Hi,

 

I really liked the previous version of emby in wich the menu of multimedia was in the same order that i have inserted my folders and named it.

 

For example, I have set up my library folders on this order: Movies, Movies Anime, Documentaries, Series, Series Anime, Music

 

And on Multimedia content it displayed on same exact order... it is funny but if you have inserted on different order display would change, i really kind of liked it, cause you could customize it like the menus on a kodi skin. (collections appeared after the library folders)

 

Now it sorts the menu on alphabetical order wich i don't like cause in portuguese i get, collections, documentaries, films, films anime, music, series, series anime...

 

I get the music menu in the middle of videos of my prefered order... seems kind of strange on my picky ordering style... gets kind of messy, confusing and annoying... eheheh

 

I don´t know if it is supposed to be in that way, or if is there an option to change it... the library folders being menus is really good form of organizing and easier, better then kodi, in wich, for that purpose you have to set up smartplaylists, so is that a coding issue or it can be fixed by selecting some option, or is it something that i have missed?

 

(other thing kind of offtopic, how do i check my guests connecting or to see what they are seeing and history... i think in the wiki is kinda of outdated or i didn't look at it properly).

Hi @@Norin, nothing has been removed here. Have you explored user settings? Click your user icon in the top right of the web app, then click home screen settings. Scroll down and you can re-order your library views however you like.

Yes, it helped a lot. Sorry i didn´t check that out... emby is very intuitive, hadn´t explored that part.

(where should i check that part of guests info of using the server? its easier to ask and i couldn´t quite get it on the wiki, it´s still the same i suppose, i should check the wiki again perhaps).

the front page of the emby server dashboard has an activity log. it's very basic but it will tell you when they're logging in, playing content, etc.
