AceBlade258 3 Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) My Emby server is a dedicated VM, and has NFS access to my file server. On the Emby server, I have Samba running, sharing the libraries as read-only to anyone that wants (inside my network). Having Emby read from those shares seems like a terribly bad idea. For various reasons, my primary file server can't make guest-access samba shares. This seems like it would be a similar situation to emby running on a NAS, but I could easily be mistaken as I don't have a NAS. (I'm not sure where to put this, and I'm curious if I'm the only person annoyed by this being taken away) Edit: it looks like I may be mistaken and the feature was essentially just moved? Solution puithove 209 Posted December 10, 2016 Solution Posted December 10, 2016 It's a per-library setting now. It's still there. It's more granular instead of having it as a global setting. 2
