flvinny521 0 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 (edited) While all of my folders are consistent, using a leading zero for single digit season number (i.e. Season 01, Season 02, Season 11, Season 12), Emby sometimes ignores the leading zero. For example, it can display "Season 01," "Season 02," "Season 3," "Season 04," "Season 5," "Season 6." Does this have to do with the metadata provider? Is there any way to stop this behavior? I don't remember having this issue until recently. I tried to resolve it by removing my entire library, restarting Emby server a few times, rebooting my server, and then adding the directories back to my library and having the media all scanned again. flvinny521 0 Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 If you enabled the moviedb metadata provider for seasons then it could be due to that OK, that could be it. Should I normally have no provider selected for seasons at all? MovieDB is the only one in the list for seasons. What do I need to do for the new structure to take effect?
Luke 42085 Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Whether you want internet metadata for your season folders is entirely up to you. We disable it by default for performance but the MovieDb has season descriptions which some people think are nice. You can disable it now if you wish and it will not impact future seasons that you add, however, existing ones will require manual editing. 1
