elee532 1 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I have a bunch of concert DVDs and Blu-rays that were copied to a hard disk. Metadata for them was not automatically downloaded as it was for my library of regular DVD movies. I thought maybe it was because I set the folder format as Music Video. So, I deleted and recreated the library as Movies. Still no metadata downloaded. However, if I go into each disk and select the option to refresh metadata, it does so successfully.
Solution Luke 42077 Posted January 25, 2014 Solution Posted January 25, 2014 because the first time around it saved xml files, then second time around it saw those files and used those instead of going out to the internet. so the individual refresh on the edit page is a way to force it to download fresh. 1
elee532 1 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 That makes sense. I just added a new movie, and sure enough it picked up the metadata automatically. Thanks Luke!
