Heckler 147 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I'm assuming that something has changed in the latest build I updated to Version 3.0.5135.31685 I recently made the switch from Chrome to Firefox due to security vulnerabilities in chrome and noticed some different behaviour. When I watch something from the web client, and hit full screen, I get a massive message overly that tells me localhost is now fullscreen... I assume this is a firefox thing as in chrome it's just a single line box, in firefox it's huge. But... in firefox the screen saver is kicking in... I have it set to a blank screen saver after 10 mins and then power down the monitor after 15 mins. Playing video in chrome, media player, vlc and so forth stops the screen saver from kicking in. But the web client in firefox doesn't... Yet it does when playing other things say via youtube. If you want logs let me know which ones... didn't think they'd be essential for what may be a firefox conflict.
Luke 42077 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 No logs needed. We have no control over either of those.
Heckler 147 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 Any ideas on how to stop it from happening?
Luke 42077 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 No. Looks like firefox has an open issue https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=517870 1
Heckler 147 Posted January 25, 2014 Author Posted January 25, 2014 OK, thanks for taking the time to look that up... hadn't even occured to me.
