edwin1234 0 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 When i try to configure choclate in mce there comes a balloon popup that there was an error in mediabrowser and and then mediabrowser shuts down What is wrong ? Using windows 7 Choclate itself doesnt show up only the config window No backdrop is showing in the movies tab like it was before in the older version. Another question i paid for mediabrowser 2.xx And had some plugins with the code, can i get them back in mb3? Thanks Greetings edwin
BATTLE DONKEY 98 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) I'm waiting on the server to get a couple things fine-tuned before the next MBC release. I will probably wait a day or so after the server goes Release as well to keep our version delivery system from bogging down. What errors are you getting with Chocolate? Windows 7 Server - 3.0.5131.18923 MBClassic - 3.0.108.0 B1-7.1 I can install chocolate in the configurator but once i go into settings from MBC and switch to chocolate theme i get a WMC error popup bubble saying "Program not responding, The media browser 3 program has stopped responding and you will be returned to windows media center". If I try to re-enter MBC I get a "Invalid application unable to launch "media browser 3' pop up with the tick box to disable apllication The only way to open MBClassic again is to go into the configurator and delete the chocolate theme from there. Subdued and Default theme work fine though. Below is my windows event log that to me looks like its saying im missing some chocolate files http://paste2.org/Zp0UaKAj And my MBClassic log from the same time http://paste2.org/4OJL9O83 Hope those are right and that u can help me out. Thanks in advance Edited January 22, 2014 by BATTLE DONKEY
BATTLE DONKEY 98 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Sounds like you may be having a similar issue as me http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/4067-feature-request-next-upresume-tab/?p=63207
ebr 16169 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Shut down MBC. Delete the "Chocolate" directory from under your Plugins directory. Re-install Chocolate and try again.
BATTLE DONKEY 98 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Just tried that, as soon as I switched to chocolate theme and clicked continue I got the "invalid application, unable to launch media browser 3" disable application? Popup bubble
BATTLE DONKEY 98 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Shut down MBC. Delete the "Chocolate" directory from under your Plugins directory. Re-install Chocolate and try again. Made a second attempt also removing the chocolate xml file from the configurations folder and that produced the same error. Both MBC and WMC were shut down when I installed the chocolate theme from the configurator
ebr 16169 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Did you create a custom fonts file for your overall MBC installation?
BATTLE DONKEY 98 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Did you create a custom fonts file for your overall MBC installation? Nope, I have no idea how I would go about doing that
