New collections not synced

Hello,

 

Since a recent update (maybe the 3.0.8000) new collections are not synced with apps.

Collections are well scrapped in emby but are not synced with KODI's app (on my 3 devices : 2 Windows and 1 Rasp), movies appear separatly (older collections are ok).

Can you please help me ?

Run a manual sync by launching the emby for kodi add-on > manual sync

 

The server doesn't generate events for boxsets so the add-on can't pick up on changes automatically

Thanks for your response, I didn't make link between my problem and fast start up option.

So, if I want my collection to be synced, I have to desactivate fast start up ? With manual sync, app is it synced in live without restard kodi ?

Are your collections always changing?.... you can have the fast start up sync, and run the manual sync whenever you update your boxsets.... Otherwise, if they are constantly changing, then you can disable the fast sync so it's picked up at startup.

Collections are not changing, but about one is added weekly. Are new collections added with fast start up ?

No, because the server doesn't generate an event for boxsets. Meaning nothing is aware the boxset is changed, unless manually looked up. It's the only type of item that doesn't have an event, hence why there is a Feature Request to support it.

Ok, so I think I'll keep fast start up and desactivate it sometimes to sync collections.

I dont understand why you need to deactivate the fast sync? Just run a manual sync while in Kodi, launch emby for kodi addon > run manual sync.

 

You can run a manual sync at anytime. You don't need to disable the fast sync.

I didn't find how to perform a manual sync (in addon configuration) but I have just found it, addon > open > at the end
