Hello to everyone, first of all, thanks for this great program, tried Plex before, and this is by far the best cloud/video/server,

I have a question, right now, i download full season tv shows, like this;

- Parent folder: [Pack] Name of the tv show S1 [720p]

And, inside that folder, all episodes of season 1. The problem, is that emby cant find the TV shows, so I have to manually search for them, I just put "Name of the tv show" , and emby find it 100% always.

Is the [Pack] word making to emby mistake while searching?

What can I do?.

Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome. Thanks!

We would need to look at a more specific example in order to be able to offer any guidance. Thanks.

More than likely it is the name of the series "Name of the tv show S1"  you would have to drop the "S1" as that is not part of the series name.

Hi, welcome. Thanks!

Example:

[PACK]The 100 S2 [HDiT 720p]

Season 2, of TV show, The 100, at 720p. Full season.

More than likely it is the name of the series "Name of the tv show S1"  you would have to drop the "S1" as that is not part of the series name.

Yes, thats what I thought, I would keep identifying manually. Not a big problem.

Thanks!

Can you go over the entire directory structure for that show? screenshots of the folders would make it easy to visualize what is going on. thanks !

ok yes currently we treat the folder as the series folder and i would imagine there will be difficulty extracting the correct series name from that
