Hi all,

i need help with my emby installation.

i'm on xpenology DSM 5.2-5967 Update 2 and have installed the new emby server package 3.0.8300.0-1 from the new emby repository.

when i start - scan media library -, im always getting this error:

Scan media library failed.

constraint failed UNIQUE constraint failed: UserDataKeys.ItemId, UserDataKeys.UserDataKey
580e44c1dd582_2016102419_22_08bersicht.j

what can i do ? i have already reinstalled the package.

before i installed emby from the official emby repository ( i had installed the embymono package manually - the old way), i had no problems.

thanks

Hey Luke,

Do you find something in the logs?

It's being looked into, thanks.

This will be resolved for the next release of the server, thanks.

Hello @@face2k

I've published stable 3.0.8400 for Synology/XPEnology, can you go to Package Center and update.

Let us know if this resolves your issue.

Best

can i replace a file to fix this problem ?
at the moment, i can't use my emby server.

Isn't the beta version available for Synology? You could try that.

i think there are differnet versions for synology. for my "xpenology" version i found no beta version

ok, try deleting the library.db file from the server's data folder, then run a library scan and see if the issue persists. thanks.

Hi @@face2k

Let me know if you need a pointer on doing the above.

Ok, i have deleted the library.db, but the problem is the same :/

Any other ideas? I cant wait 2 weeks for the next update ;)

I'm going to be putting out an 8500 update but just be aware the fix will not be included. I've decided it's a little too risky to try to cherry pick it. The reason this is only happening to you is because the cause of this is bad data somewhere, and the current server is just not reacting well to it.

You could try deleting the library db again only this time remove plugins as well and also remove Emby libraries, then add libraries one at a time until it happens. That might help us narrow down what library item is causing it.

Ok @@Luke, i have do this things.

I only have 2 librarys, series and movies. the series scan is well done. The Error is coming at the movie library.

But how Can i filter the error in the movie library?

Before i have installed emby from the official repository, all scans worked well.

do you have nfo files?

You could try deleting the nfo files first.

Hello @@face2k

What version of Emby Server were you running, before switching to the Emby supported package for your platform?

Also, did you setup from scratch or migrate your package, as per this article on the Wiki? https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Migrating-From-the-Community-Package

If you get a chance, can you run the Send Logs utility, details here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-How-to-Send-us-Support-Logs

Ok, after i have deleted all nfo Files and restart the scan, it runs successfully with no more errors.

Great :)

Thanks for your help
