Generate a New Device Id

@Angelblue, Two questions:

What is the use of this option "Generate a New Device Id, coz when I click on it no value was created, and in server I could not see the impact on server.

 

Also in server under advance >Security> APi, I created an Api, would this have impact for Emby4Kodi?

1. It changes the device id. It will generate a new device in Emby. If you go to emby devices, you'll see the new one created once Kodi is loaded with the new device id .
