Looping restart

its just a giant loop every time it restarts the server it asks to be restarted again.

try installing the update from the website

at first i was getting an error

what i did was just delete the system folder and install worked perfectly

Do you run the server as a service?

yes i do the service was stopped and still got the error until i deleted the system folder inside of the install then everything went smooth as glass

I think whenever the server is running as a service, something hangs on to a lock on that folder that prevents us from modifying it.

Correct thus why I stopped the service it still had that issue so deleted the folder and was set.

 

Great work btw now just waiting for the live livetv and what i have seen of it i am going to love it.

seems kinda scary to remove \mediabrowser-server\system ?

not scary at all as when the program redownloads it puts it back

 

the blood part is the user name so substitute that for yours

C:\Users\blood\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\System
