Updates are delivered via DSM's Package Center, in a similiar way to how you performed the initial install.

 

This is discussed on the wiki here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Notes-on-Package-Updates

 

The packages for Synology are typically available within 24 hours of the release being published.

 

This is because we need to build, validate and test the packages before making them available for installation.
