Live TV - Multi Screen Feature

@hiimcourtyEmby's live tv management and features are underwhelming and have been for a long time. Fortunately, solutions do exist and add a lot of capability. I've used Xteve, IPTVBoss, Threadfin, and currently use Dispatcharr to manage a consolidated m3u and epg across 2 HDHomerun tuners and iptv streams with multiple epg sources including SchedulesDirect. Dispatcharr is hands-down the best and most feature rich. I copy the audio and video directly, but configure the ffmpeg flags for higher reliability/resiliency and Emby manages the specific device stream logic. 

As it pertains to your use case Dispatcharr has a multiview plugin that is hardware accelerated. One consideration is that a multiview 2x2 requires 4+ streams. If your provider limits you to 1 or 2 streams Dispatcharr can work around this by managing multiple IPTV accounts if needed.

My main use case is sports. During NFL, NHL, college football, etc., I often have several games available at the same time. All of the channels already exist in my Emby guide, so being able to select four of them and watch them together inside Emby would be incredibly useful.

I would strongly prefer this to using a separate IPTV application because Emby is already where my Live TV, guide, users, and devices are managed.

A 2x2 four-channel Multiview with selectable audio would be perfect.

Based on other live TV features that have been asked for and the pace of their release, I would suggest using another app for live TV.  Tivimate does what you are asking already and has for years.  It does very well and the live TV experience is much greater (assuming you are running on a androidTV box) than Emby IMO.  There is even an open source app that has multiview (https://github.com/ahXN00/OwnTV). It has some issues but is functional with multiview and is being maintained and updated. There are options.
