Hi everybody!

I'm a  user of mediabrowser software for a while without problem but I have a big one with the latest stable release update of Emby for wmc and emby server...

I used mediabrowser since the beginning with wmc.

I created 8 folders according to the movie genre (drama, thriller, scifi, etc..)or tv series.

When I updated from mb2.6.2 to mb3 everything worked well and I appreciated a lot the new functionnalities.

And of course I can see all of the folders in emby for wmc.

What's wrong exactly? with the latest update I've dowloaded this week I see at least 4 folders in the library...

So, I open emby server and I can see the folders missing in emby for wmc but I can't change anything on them...

Then, I uninstalled the emby softwares and reinstall mb2.6.2, everything ok again!

Why? I update again with the latest stable release and I see 4 folders only!!!

I'm a poor noob...Please help me before trying an other mediacenter platform (I hate Kodi...)

Have you limited the latest version ?

Regards

There is no limit so something else is going on here.

Check your library setup and be sure it conforms to one of our supported structures.

Thx Ebr!

I've checked on your link and I've made the build of the library as you explain.

My library is the same since mb 2.x version...

When I create a new folder in Emby server:

- I can specify the type of the files inside ( movies, etc...)

- I can change the name of the folder

- I can specify the address of the folder in my computer

that's all...

When I click on the folder created:

- I can't change the image used (xzener icons for example)

- I can't open the folder to see all the files

everytime a "waiting coloured circle" is on.........

I tried to stop my firewall, no change!

When I reinstall mb2.6.2 everything fine again but I can't use it as usual because of "no plug-in" inside now...

No more idea?

Regards

Thx Luke!

It works again after:

- uninstalling emby server

- uninstalling emby for wmc

- deeply cleaning with ccleaner

- erasing manually all datas, files and folders remaining in the appdata, programfiles and the registry database!

- installing latest stable release emby server and emby  for wmc.

After that I followed a normal setup as a new user and create folders in a library with the path to my existing datas.

I don't know what happened during the update few days ago...

Maybe, my post can help people trying to update also! Be sure that you clean totally your system and erase all the previous files of emby.

So, I close this post.

Regards everyone!
