Creating users

Just a quick question about creating users in Emby server when running on synology.

 

The Embysrv user needs to be granted access to all the shared folders the server needs to access.

 

What about additional users? Should I give them read/write access too?

Or is the embysrv account enough?

The embysrv account seems to be making all the access when I am using an Emby client back to my Syno - I have 4 user accounts in Emby, but only the embysvr account on my NAS, so no need to create other accounts on the Synology for those additional Emby users to access.

 

I also use a Kodi client to access, and if I want to do direct streaming, there is a section in its configuration for network credentials. That is a single account that my Kodi HTPC machine uses to connect to my NAS - again, not individual accounts for each user.
