Baron164 0 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 I have a couple shows, Archer and the old 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon as well as a few other shows. I know with some shows like the new Doctor Who I had to put the year in the Show folder so for Doctor Who the folder is "Doctor Who 2005". I'm just wondering if anyone has had the same issue with shows like Archer. I've searched the thetvdb.com site and tried to match the shows with what's on there but it doesn't seem to be helping. And it's only a few shows that don't pull data, most of them all work fine.
Solution Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2014 Solution Posted January 11, 2014 you can fix these on the series edit page. just correct the id, then refresh the series from the edit page. 1
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 There is a show called Archer from 1975 and TMNT series in 2003 and 2012. Either have to use the year or replace the ID. Year is helpful if you have both. Like I have Doctor Who (through the 8th Doctor) and Doctor Who 2005. Sometimes you might need (US) in the directory name as well. For instance Being Human (US) will identify as the concurrent British series of the same name without the US. The Tomorrow People on CW identifies as an older UK series as well. As Luke says the ID is key though. You could name the folder whatever you want as long as the ID is correct. The rest is for us silly humans.
Baron164 0 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Excellent thank you, changing the ID worked great.
