jriker1 21 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 (edited) Trying to install the latest beta version of Emby Server on my Windows 2012 box and it's giving me "Could not move system directory to backup. C:\users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\ system is denied. I have tried shutting down Emby Server thru the web interface. Doesn't seem to do anything after I click OK. The Emby service in services is set to manual and is not running. The Media Browser service I've stopped. Something is running as the mediabrowser.server is still showing in the task manager details. Can't manually kill it. I have rebooted. Thoughts? Thanks. JR Edited August 9, 2016 by jriker1
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 9, 2016 Solution Posted August 9, 2016 There are several topics on this but occasionally the server process hangs and takes awhile to shutdown. Does the process die off after a few minutes? 1
