MB Classic wont connect to server this is happening on 2 machines.

Client is 3.0.108 Server is 3.0.5123.261

Client is running on Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and also Windows 8.1 Pro X86 Server is running on Server 2008R2 x64, all machines are in a Domain environment and were working before this newest update nothing has changed with the network or domain.

I have tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling, on the X86 machine this was a brand new install of Media Browser with no previous versions having been installed on machine.

Client Log is as follows.

That looks like a Configurator log as opposed to an MBC one.

Can you please install the current public release version of the server and see if it is any different?

Sorry yes that is the configurator log, it wont allow me do anything and crashes the minute I click anything like a radio button.  As such MBC Client wont allow me to connect to the server at all.

Ok still same issue with public release installed, I should mention I have 3 other clients still running 3.0.100.0 b12-4.1 on windows 7, that are all able to connect fine to the server.  This is only affecting my 2 Windows 8 Machines with 3.0.108 installed.

I suspect it has more to do with Win 8 than with the new MBC version.

Check to be sure your firewall or something else aren't blocking MBC.  Also, please attach an MBC log from when this happens.

all firewalls are disabled since all machines sit behind a pfsense gateway\firewall.  ill get you an mbc log when i get home later.

heres the mbc log

Okay, nothing in that log.  What actually happens?  Does WMC report "invalid Application"?  If so please find the errors in the Windows Event log.

no mbc launches within media center but just sits at please select a user with no users showing.

Are your users marked as "Hidden" on the server?

Dude you need to do a complete uninstall / reinstall cycle.

It gets messed up sometimes, and thats the only sure fire remedy i know of.
