Server Rebuild & Playstate

I'm about to rebuild my Server as Emby has developed some issues with Emby WMC that myself and ebr can't seem to pinpoint.

 

Test server build an another machine works fine, so going to bite the bullet and start fresh.

 

My question is regarding playstate, I understand that is in the Userdata_v2 file.

 

This build I would like to change the names of some of my libraries (ie TV Series to just TV, Kids Movies to Animated etc etc)

 

Will the playstate still apply to the new named libraries, bearing in mind file contents and network paths remain identical.

I use the Trakt plugin as a backup. It won't save partial playstates, but it will save watched status.

Library display names have nothing to do with how play states is stored.  I believe they are all stored by either TVDb, TMDB or IMDB id numbers, not path/location.

 

You should take a look at the Server Configuration Backup plugin also, since you have options to not restore everything.
