JoeyMuyo 4 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Not sure if this should be in here or another part of the forum. Since the recent emby server updated that made recorded TV a library I have had an issue with the recorded episodes appearing in the wrong place. I use tvheadend to do the live TV and recording. It then places them in a folder called recorded TV. I have usually only used tvheadend via kodi directly. Which works great. But I added tvheadend to emby so I could view live TV remotely on the odd occasion I actually needed it. I have two libraries called movies and TV shows. But now since the emby update the items in the recorded TV folder are appearing as items in kodi under movies. And only kodi, for all users. I have done a reset of the local database and even deleted the library from emby, which just auto generates. Has anyone else seen this happen and know what I can do to sort it?
Solution pünktchen 1409 Posted June 11, 2016 Solution Posted June 11, 2016 Have you filled in your recordings path in the live tv settings page of Emby's dashboard? If so, that could be the problem. It's not really meant to be used with external live tv plugins yet. Also check your Emby user profile settings.(icon top right of the screen) There's a setting to group/display all your libraries as one item! 2
JoeyMuyo 4 Posted June 12, 2016 Author Posted June 12, 2016 That was it! Removing the recorded TV path from the emby settings and doing a kodi database reset sorted it! Thanks. 2
