Question about uploading files

Hello.

 

What is the best/easiest way to get media onto the server?

 

I have some web tools setup (come setup with the Turnkey server) that I can use to upload files but they seem a little clunky.

 

I was thinking maybe FTP would be easier.  What do most of you use?

Using the web tools to manage files just isn't working.  All of them have problems dealing with folder or files that have parentheses in the name with is the emby standard way to indicate the release.

 

So, I'm still looking for a better way to upload and manage files.

Hi, what web tools are you referring to? Something with Turnkey?

The Turnkey server some reconfigured with Webmin (http://www.webmin.com/)

 

Mostly pretty handy but not for file management apparently.

After some experimenting I've found that Samba seem to work quite well.
