Hi guys.

I've just rebuilt my emby Server on a new VM and have opted to run emby as a service (instead of user mode).

I've noticed that the last 2 updates since I finished the build have not been automatically applied.

Instead, there's a message on the Server config page like "Please shutdown server and manually update".

Is this normal when running in service mode?

Cheers,

TT

Edit:

I should have mentioned that I have 'Enable automatic server updates' & 'Allow the server to restart automatically to apply updates' checked, and am on the 'Official Release' channel.

Sorry those options are not available and are not displayed if you are running as a service.  The only way to auto-update while running as service is with a script shown is the link provided.

That'll work nicely.
