Nazgulled 11 Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I might be the odd one in that I prefer titles named "The Something" to be sorted under "T" and not under "S". Currently, Emby does nothing to sort title unless it comes from the .nfo file or some metadata provider. I usually have .nfos for all movies and Emby reads from those (falling back to metadata downloaders if needed). They usually don't contain a "sort name". This is a request to include a feature (a checkbox in the metadata configuration) to automatically fill the "sort name" field with the exact same title from the "name" field. That's it. I understand if this is not something you want to add, but here's hoping you do Thanks for listening.
Solution bluemonkey07 590 Posted March 29, 2016 Solution Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) There is a .xml file you can edit to change this See here : http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/9612-Change-sort-order-to-not-ignore-prefix? Edited March 29, 2016 by Vidman 4
