Movie.xml files not showing up anymore

I don't know if I'm out of the loop or I have an issue. Until January 31st, whenever I added a movie to Emby a movie.xml file would be created. I just noticed that movies added after that date don't have these metadata files. Are these not used anymore? Or did I maybe change a setting? I don't notice any issues with metadata population on any of the movies without the metadata files. Thanks!

The creation of xml metadata was removed for the core of the server after v3.0.5818.0.  If you still want xml files to be created you will need to install the XML Saver plugin from the catalog.  Or you can switch to nfo files.  If you look at Metadata-Services-Customize for media type "drop down" you will see your options for each content type.
