ab123ga 14 Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 I tried to uninstall and selected the option to remove all traces. The install would never complete. I found a similar issue noted last year by someone else. http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/23860-cant-uninstall-emby/ i uninstalled without checking remove traces and the uninstall worked. I assume this is not a clean uninstall so I just renamed the roaming\mediabrowser-server to ...roaming\xmediabrowser-server. Will update after installing new copy of server.
Solution ab123ga 14 Posted May 24, 2016 Author Solution Posted May 24, 2016 Completed the install and after about 5hrs to scan the media all counts are accurate. Will update after a couple of days or sooner if I see an issue. 2
ab123ga 14 Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 It's been a week with zero issues. The re-install did the trick. Thanks much for your help Luke.
ab123ga 14 Posted July 12, 2016 Author Posted July 12, 2016 My movie database is back to the missing movies plus I have another issue. In each of the movie categories, if a movie is a part of a collection, it is putting the collection in the list of movies. Image attached. I guess my simple question is: Is there a simple way to rebuild the database without having to uninstall and reinstall. This is becoming frustrating have to do these one off fixes but a simple rebuild would be something I guess i can take on. https://app.box.com/s/84qjb964w0vpzwojhw6c440zbe3ich4w
ebr 16184 Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 That is a designed feature. If you don't want it to do that, go into Library->Display and turn it off.
