First up - MB3 is simply an awesome advance on MB2 which in itself was brilliant :D

Re: Server
Updated Media browser server to Ver. 3.0.5099.212 from version immediately prior.

Using Coverart 4.0.4.6. No other plugins installed. Windows 7 Pro 64bit.
All versions of MBC installed are 3.0.100.0 B12-4.1

Issue:
All my 'People' images are gone and chapter images are no longer displayed.

People -
Have selected 'Use custom images by name path' and set path to 'E:\MB3Cache\ImagesByName'. All folders and subfolders are still present, but the E:\MB3Cache\ImagesByName\People\A Martinez folder for example is now empty, as are all the others.

Have had this same 'custom images by name path' configuration from about 3 or 4 MB server versions back and have successfully updated with no issues.

Just bringing this to your attention in case it is not the first time as there is nothing I can do but select 'Refresh People' to get the data back. (Which unfortunately will take a few hours) :(

Chapters -
In the C:\Users\Mobius\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\data\extracted-video-images folder, I still have 53,159 Files in 16 Folders. The chapter images are still there, which I have confirmed. They are however, no longer showing up in the MBC which is co-installed with MB server on one computer; my HTPC. Nor on the 2 other systems running MBC.

Could the chapter.db file be corrupt? (current file size is about 18MB).

Considering the size of these folders and the amount of time it takes to replace them; I should have backed them up, which I will be doing periodically from now on.

Many thanks for your help and for a providing a most excellent set of programs for my HTPC system. :D

Hmm... the blog sounds interesting. Will the run 'Chapter image Extraction' task again, so thanks for the quality upgrade. No idea why the contents of the imagesbyname people folders were deleted. In anycase, the 'Refresh People' task is currently at 85% completion and I will back up the relevant folder when finished so whatever the cause; it shouldn't be a problem in future.

Cheers mate.
