Having trouble adding a foler to the library

Afternoon

 

I moved emby over to windows 10. Everything went well. I started adding content to the library, I have 3 internal HD'S and one connected though  external usb3. AI was able to add 1 content folder from each of the internal HD'S using content type= movies description=movies. So now in that library I have 3 content folders of movies of course each folder has a separate name containing my content files. The issue is trying to add the folder with my content files from the usb drive. When I try to add that folder to the library using content =movies description=movies emby gives me an error saying error adding the media path make sure the path is valid. It will add the folder if I use content = movies description " I can put anything in there and it will work fine"  Problem now is searching and browsing my movies I have 2 folders in the library 1 with the usb content and 1 with the 3 internal hd's folders. Is there away to include the usb folder into the library which has the other 3 in it so i do not have to search 2 different library's?

Hi, each library must have a unique display name, so if you already created a library called Movies, you cannot use that name again. If  you want to group multiple paths together, then just edit the Movies library and add the additional paths. Does this answer your question?

Sorry for the large pic but I had to take it with my phone. As you see I have 1 library movies/movies in that library there are 3 folders from 3 separate HD'S. There is another Library called movies/movies2014 on my external usb. I wanted to put that movies2014 in the movies/movies library but the server will not let me, Gives me that error message. movies i could of called it movies anything as long as it was not movies/movies. I would really like to include that folder in the movies/movies library makes searching and going though my collection if everything is min the same library.

Ok, I understand. What you should do is remove the Movies 2014 library altogether, then go into the Movies library and add the path

M:\2014 Movies And On

Try that and let me know how it goes. Thanks.
