When using a reverse proxy i am faced with this prompt. If i put in a username and password the prompt reappears but if I click cancel the prompt goes away and i can login as normal. Any ideas why this is happening?

your IIS settings for that site, are set to anonymous access correct?   Is this https? or not?   Any reason you are forced to use iis for the reverse proxy?  :-)

Oh yea, not sure how your doing the reverse proxy, but if you have any kind of landing page, like meta refresh to a different page.. make sure that html file has the IIS user rights in the OS..
