hedgehogg 104 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Now it's all changed - How do I remove my Xmas Music folder from the library without physically deleting the folder? And while we are here 'Collections' has popped in I don't want it so how do I get rid / Turn it off?
ebr 16169 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Ummm... Library->[click 'three dots' menu on proper library]->Remove... Or, if it is a location within a library, same thing but select "Manage folders" and then Remove the proper one ('-' icon). 1
hedgehogg 104 Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Clicking the 3 dots brings up a menu but no Remove and can't see Manage folders anywhere
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Are you referring to a folder that is within a library? If so you can add a .ignore file in the folder to hide it from Emby. Edited January 13, 2016 by Happy2Play
ebr 16169 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Clicking the 3 dots brings up a menu but no Remove and can't see Manage folders anywhere Perhaps a screenie would help.
hedgehogg 104 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 .Ignore didn't work nor setting the folder to hidden - Before I could add a folder or remove a folder there just doesn't seem to be that simple functionality any-more And how do I get rid of the collections folder - I don't need it as I have a Boxsets folder already. Ebr - What do you need a screenshot of?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Dropping a .ignore file into any folder in my library and performing a library scan hid that folder and content from the server. As long as it wasn't a configured Library folder.
Solution ebr 16169 Posted January 17, 2016 Solution Posted January 17, 2016 Ebr - What do you need a screenshot of? The menu you get when you click the three dots. e.g. 1
hedgehogg 104 Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 AHA!! Done it Thanks Ebr - Now how to remove the auto generated 'Collections' Folder
