Sub/Idx subtitles not showing

I have a media file with Sub/Idx subtitles. Emby can see the subtitles (although for some reason cannot detect the language?).

They are also automatically enabled when playing the video, but they just don't show.

 

I've tested that the subtitles are indeed valid and working in Plex (I guess you hate being compared to them? sorry).

Plex regonizes the language in the subtitle and plays them without issue.

 

I've uploaded the relevant logs and the subtitles themselves.

There's a known issue with our transcoding of sub/idx that is unresolved as of now. Other formats will work fine and also, these formats will work fine on apps that can handle them without transcoding.
