How to restore with Server Configuration Backup

Hi,

 

I cannot seem to find the Restore option in Server Configuration Backup plugin?

 

Where is it hiding from me?

Or is the restore only available after new Emby server install?

 

Windows 7

Emby server: 3.0.5785.0

Server Configuration Backup 1.0.0.10

Yes you reinstall Emby server, then the backup plugin and ensure to point it to the same backup location.  Then when you click on the plugin you will see all of your backups.

If it said "Current Backups to restore from", probably woulda been more intuitive.

Just a warning, if you have guests, they won't be backed up.  Only users are backed up.

Users aren't backed up by default either, you have to enable that option.

That is odd. I did a backup before updating to 5871.0. I do see the users in the backup folder (Userdata and Users folder). But when i do Restore, there is no selection to restore the users?

Make sure you have the latest version of the backup plug-in.

The is a bug or issues in Chrome that prevent them from been seen, they appear in IE, FF, and Edge but not Chrome for me. v1.0.0.12
