aureldelic 0 Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Hi, I am not too technical guy when it comes to Linux, but is seams to me now that Emby is running over some sort of emulation trough Mono, am I right? Is there a plan to make Emby in some sort "native" like Plex server so it runs more stable and uses less memory than now? Are there any official plans for Emby on Synology? Great product btw

frankp 1 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 That's good news. Any idea when a native version of emby-server will be released?
Luke 42077 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 You can follow Microsoft's .net runtime project as they are building native versions of the runtime for linux and osx.
Solution solabc16 379 Posted September 10, 2016 Solution Posted September 10, 2016 Emby supported packages for both Intel and Marvell based machines are now available, see here: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/22921-synology-setup/?p=224173 Migration from the community package is also available, there's a wiki article here: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Synology-:-Migrating-From-the-Community-Package
