Cannot Log Into Old Server Version from New iOS App

Cheers, guys for getting this app up and running in the App Store!

 

I am currently using server version 3.0.5641.4.

 

What is the minimum server version that can be used with the new iOS app?

 

When I add servers, I can see all my users to select for login. But it will not accept any password from either my iPhone 6 (ios 8.1) or iPad Mini 2 (iOS 9.1). I get "Invalid username or password. Please try again" no matter which user or which device. The passwords are correct since we log in externally using the browser all the time.

I would have thought that server would be ok but there is bound to be some new api we added that your server doesn't have.

Oh, and to clarify, I am not using Emby Connect. I've tried clicking the user image and entering the password and also tried manual login with the same results.

 

I guess it's time to update to the latest version. I'll do that and report back...after I take an image of my system first.

Well, I upgraded my server to the latest stable release version (3.0.5781.1) and I can now log in.
